Again on my li'l hike, looking back towards camp. The camper, barely visible in the photo, is indicated by the arrow. I covered maybe a mile up the glacier, and to reach the icefield that is the source of the glacier I would have about 26 more miles to hike. The elevation of our camp was about 1500 feet, and the glacier starts its run down the valley from about 8,000 feet.
