5/2 We went to lunch and tried to capture the process by which she gets so dang messy. This photo essay is entitled, "Lunchin' with Lauren!" here we go... we start off with a clean baby. The mess begins quickly though innocently, and she tries her best to eat with utensils like a human. Soon she reverts to her forkless method of food consumption/distribution. Even stuffing her face (literally!) with one hand is too slow (or clean?) so she doubles her mess capacity by using both hands. The result is easily predictable. And for dessert, she decides to let us in on the mechanics of the early stages of digestion.
