After years of wanting, I finally climbed Mt. Wickersham. Keith and I were originally going to make it the 4th of July trip, but smoke haze and crappy weather killed that trip. So we got a nice weekend and did it in 3 days. We hiked about 11 miles up the Matanuska Glacier to the Bock's Den mountaineering hut, with the following day to be the climbing day.

Here, I stand near a beautiful blue pond we found along the way. The water is perfectly drinkable on the glacier, and I don't think I'll ever find water that tastes that good!
